Dr. K Rosaiah, His Excellency, the Governor of Tamil Nadu released the BEST OF CHENNAI Volume 2, an international coffee table book, at the ITC Grand Chola on July 7 in Chennai. An eye-catching green and gold book, this coffee table book with a difference captures the best of Chennai’s heritage, culture and businesses.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Rosaiah quoted Francis Bacon, English author and philosopher when he said, “Some books are to be tasted, others are to be swallowed and some books are to be chewed and digested. BEST OF CHENNAI VOLUME 2 is one which can be tasted again and again. Chennai is known for its very successful businesses. As the ‘Gateway to the South, it has had a grand and eventful past. The remarkable part about this book is the information it carries about organisations in various sectors and their contribution to the economy. These establishments have created a strong foundation for the growth of Chennai and Tamil Nadu. I am also happy to read about the young entrepreneurs who are breaking new ground in business. When I browsed the book, the unique feature which I found is that it nicely depicts the bouquet of culture, architecture and commerce of Tamil Nadu, especially Chennai. I appreciate the good and excellent work done by Raintree Media and Global Village Partnerships in publishing this book.”
Sandhya Mendonca, Founder, MD & Editor-in-Chief of Raintree Media said,
