Recipe1: MUTTER PANEER using Preethi’s Electric Pressure Cooker
INGREDIENTS
For masala
Onion – 200 gm
Tomato – 150 gm
Green chillies- 4nos
Garam masala – 1.5 tsp
Red Chilli powder – 1.75 tsp
Turmeric powder -0.25 tsp
Oil – 4 tbsp
Cooking time
METHOD:
Switch on the Electric Pressure Cooker Cooking mode – Gravy
Add Oil
Add roughly chopped onions and saute till golden brown
Add the tomatoes and fry till tender
Add the green chillies and other masalas and fry
Switch off the EPC and allow the masala to cool.
Grind to a smooth paste for the gravy
INGREDIENTS
Gravy Masala
Paneer (Optional : Frying) – 200 gm
Green Peas -80 gm
Oil – 4 tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic paste (Optional) – 1 tsp
Salt – to taste
Fresh Coriander (Optional for Garnish)
Water – 100-200 ml
Cooking time
METHOD
Switch on the EPC Cooking mode – Gravy
Add Oil
Add Cumin seeds and allow to fry
Add the ground Masala and saute till the oil floats on top
Add the green peas and give it a stir
Add Salt to taste
Close the lid of the EPC and switch to On-Demand Pressure and set the timer to 06:00
After 6 mins of cooking on On-demand Pressure mode, Release the pressure valve with the knob on top
Re-set the cooker on Gravy mode and add water
Add the (fried) Paneer cubes and stir well
Allow to cook on Gravy mode
Switch off the EPC
FOR BEST RESULTS
Add butter/fresh cream while garnishing
