The Central Government has taken a decision that old 500 & 1000 rupee notes will be accepted for making ​utility ​payments towards fees, charges, taxes and penalties payable to the Central and State Governments,

As per recent amendment issued by the Government of India today, ​BSNL Tamilnadu Circle ​is pleased to accept ​to accept old 500 & 1000 rupee notes in  CSCs of Tamilnadu & Puducherry towards all ​cash transactions including receipt of bills, etc. ​Arrangements are being made to keep the CSC open for transaction on 12th, 13th and 14th November, 2016 ​to serve the customers.
