Veeram Fame Actor Bala’s Press Meet

Actor Bala Press Meet Stills (38)Actor Bala is on a high. Why wouldn’t he be? His comeback film Veeram directed by his elder brother Siva has just been declared as a blockbuster. Not many People Know that Bala is the younger brother of director Siva. Ajith had apparently seen his pictures and then chose him to play one of his younger brother roles, and after the casting was finalized, Siva told him that Bala is actually his brother.

Bala, who debuted in Kollywood with Anbu in 2003, continued to act in few movies including Manjal Veyyil but couldn’t succeed in Kollywood and moved to Mollywood to try his luck in Malayalam films. The actor courted success in Malayalam and after starring with the likes of Mammootty and Mohanlal, he has now found his place in Mollywood; he even directed a film – The Hit List.

Back in Tamil films with the successful Veeram after a long time, Bala said “I have almost settled in Malayalam films. My older brother Siva, who started off as a cinematographer, has now become a successful director.

“Thanks to the success of Veeram, my family has united in Chennai after a long time. I’m getting many calls and congratulatory message for Veeram. The days I spent with Ajith Sir during the film’s making were truly unforgettable. I was stumped by his helping nature. Though I’m sure he’d pull me up for revealing this, I am saying this: Ajith Sir got houses for all the crew members at his own expense.

“When I asked him as to why he was doing so, he would casually say ‘If we keep those with us happy, the Almighty would keep us happy’. We have used Ajith Sir’s dialogue in the film too. His great qualities as a supreme human being touched my heart. The success of Veeram has given me hope that I could make another attempt to succeed in Kollywood as hero,” concludes Bala.
