Chennai: Velammal group of schools, Chennai felicitated Mr. Chris Jolly, the founder and managing director of Jolly Learning Ltd.UK which was followed by a day long ‘Certified  Teacher Training Workshop on Jolly Phonics’ by Dr.SV Gomathi and Shalini Devi of Phonicspower , Chennai.

Nearly 250 teachers from Chennai and other parts of Tamilnadu participated in this training and were benefitted. Jolly Phonics is the most popular international curriculum for reading and writing across the world and has reached more than 105+ countries so far. The kindergarten children from Velammal Vidyalaya, Mel Ayanambakkam demonstrated their skill in reading words with ease and confidence.
