Velammal Vidyalaya (Annexure) pays tribute to the pride of our nation to late Dr. APJ. Abdul Kalam on his 2nd death anniversary by creating a sand sculpture involving 111 students depicting the missile man of India.

A two minutes speech of his life history, achievements , rewards and honours were shared by the students.
The sand sculpture of Dr, APJ Abdul Kalam was a tribute to the People’s President with a message “Tribute to A common man, Missile Man, Bharat Ratna.
The sand sculpture was inaugurated by Mr. R. Radhakrishnan , Dean, Velammal Group of Schools. The session was truly envisioning and Empowering to all the students.
