Velammal Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Mogappair welcomed the festive season, celebrating Christmas at the school campus on 12.12.17 in a grand manner. The students of classes III – V in their colourful attire put up the nativity play highlighting the birth of Lord Jesus.

The teachers with their melodious carols entertained the children immensely. Cultural programmes by the students greatly impressed the audience. Competition for the ‘Best Christmas Tree’ decoration was conducted for the students and prizes awarded in the ceremony. Teachers also enthusiastically participated in the crib decoration and were felicitated in the celebration.
