Julie rise to fame was during the Jallikattu protest which happened last year. Following this she was a contestant in the Bigg Boss programme which was hosted by Kamal Haasan.

After the reality show got over she was made an anchor in a popular TV channel. Now it has been confirmed that Julie will be playing the female lead in a movie which will be bankrolled by K7 productions.

‘Public Star’ Dhurai Sudhakar who was has previously acted in ‘Juileum 4 Perum’ and ‘Thappattam’ will play an important role in the movie.

Talking about the flick, Julie said that she liked the story as soon as she heard it. “I believe that this movie will be a turning point in my life,” she said.

Names of the director and the remaining members of the cast and the crew of the flick are expected to be announced soon.
